Password review

A conservative heuristic review, without invented cracking times. Use a password manager to generate unique passwords and enable MFA.

How to use Password review and generationSteps, privacy & next steps

Review simple password weaknesses or generate a new random password locally.

Run this check

  1. Enter a password to review, or choose a length and select Generate password.
  2. Use Show only when you want the value visible; Copy password is a separate explicit action.
  3. Store a new unique password in your password manager and enable MFA where supported.

What you need

  • A password for local analysis, or a generated length. The generator supports 16–128 characters.

Your input & privacy

Passwords stay in browser memory. Generation does not copy automatically. Fix plans and report exports exclude password values.

Read the result

Review the flagged construction patterns or save a generated value securely. Clear removes the current field and result.

Keep in mind

  • The review is a limited length/pattern heuristic, not a cracking-time estimate or breach lookup.
  • A password with no detected pattern is not guaranteed safe and should never be reused.

Your inputs, explained.

JWTs, source snippets, passwords, CSP text, files, hashes and Base64 are processed in browser memory. This toolkit does not upload or save those inputs.

Website checks send the approved URL to this service and contact the target. DNS checks disclose the domain to Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS. Email-breach checks send the full address to Have I Been Pwned when configured and explicitly requested.

Server checks are transient and rate limited. This application does not write tool input or result logs; your hosting provider and contacted services may retain network metadata under their own policies. Exports are saved only when you choose to download them.

Use tools only for assets you own or have permission to assess. Private scans and their saved reports use the separate authenticated VulnBeacon application.
